Welcome Cameron Family and Friends!

We believe in living deeply, laughing often and loving always.

We believe we were brought together to support and care for each other.

We believe in celebrating together, our faith, our heritage and our traditions.

We believe that everyone's feelings count, and that the uniqueness of each of us strengthens all of us.

We believe in the power of forgiveness to heal and the power of love to carry us through.

We believe in one another, in this family.

Interesting Fact....The "Stuart" spelling arose because there was no letter "w" in the French language and Mary Stewart, Queen of Scots, in particular, became Mary Stuart, following her marriage to the Dauphin of France, later King Francis II.

We.......

We built the walls, we cut peat in the glens,

We cleared the bracken, we fixed the pens.

We burned the heather, we highland men,

They sent us in hundreds, we came back in tens.

We shoed the horses, we calfed the cow,

We cut the barley, we ran the plough.

We worked in the fields, in sun and in rain,

Few of us returned to work them again.

We ghillied the river, we rowed on the loch,

We stalked the deer, we hunted the fox,

We raised the pheasant, we beat the grouse,

We left our wives to provide for our house.

We thought it was moral, we were told it was right,

We were told of the kaiser, and our duty to fight.

We said farewell to our women, our children, the glen,

We left them for for Flanders, and there we remain.

We fought for our country, we fought for our king,

We fought for our children, we fought for our kin.

We left the glens empty, our way of life gone,

All that remains ruins, and names carved in stone.

Allan.
